Before I start with the 2022 summer travels stories and pictures I would like to show you a picture that was taken on March 18, 2022 while I was visiting Sedona for some days. It was a full moon evening and we went with some friends to the Crescent Moon Picnic Site to watch the moon coming up behind the mountain.
It was a beautiful evening. However, it got cold rather fast and one of my friends wanted to offer me a (spare) hat – and then couldn’t because he had it not with him. It was fine with me, but I will not forget that he told me that we loose 80% of our body warmth through the head and that therefore a hat is important when it gets cold. I had never been a hat person before but have now always a woolen hat in my RV and use it quite often. It’s great to have a hat even when it gets just a little bit cold!
I’m writing this post on September 12, 2022. I finally found a – halfway – comfortable way to put content onto my travel blog website. I decided to start with the beginnings of my 2022 summer travels in my RV, but when I came across this picture I wanted to start with it. It is a beautiful reminder for myself to know that I have friends in Sedona and that I always have a great time when I’m visiting there.
I will continue from here with the 2022 travels and hope that I can add the pictures and stories from my 2021 travels, when I visited more than 10 National Parks, later.
